Welcome to the Environment Agency code of practice for the management of Japanese Knotweed.
The Environment Agency is a branch of the UK Government who, unsurprisingly, deal with environmental legislation. Their code of practice below aims to provide a thorough guide to Japanese Knotweed legislation and how this legislation affects the removal and treatment of the weed.
The document is split into two parts. The original code of practice printed in 2006 and some recent amendments which can found below.
