You may have read on our Wise Property Care site that Nadeem from our marketing team recently ran the Glasgow Half Marathon to raise money for MS Society Scotland. Well, Nad was not the only Wise employee raising money for charity recently – our invasive weeds experts at Wise Knotweed Solutions were doing their part too, sponsoring a charity darts tournament in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
Read on to find out how our expert surveyor Chris Burke teamed up with some excellent arrows players to hit the bullseye for charity in Greenock.
Chris and Chris – A Darts Double Act
Our Chris teamed up with Chris Roy, a well known figure in Greenock darts circles and former secretary for Inverclyde Darts League, to raise some cash.
Chris, pictured above with our Chris Burke, said: “Each year I try to do my bit for charity and have helped raise money for a number of causes such as Yorkhill Children’s Hospital, Aberlour Children, CHAS and Sands.
“I have run and helped in a number of darts tournaments in Greenock and have had a lot of support and backing from family, friends and others to attend the tournaments.”
